FlexiBaffle Size and Spacing Recommendations

We would be glad to discuss the specifics of your project. The following are general guidelines on FlexiBaffle® size and spacing recommendations in North America. There are a variety of alternative FlexiBaffle configurations you can consider depending on the purpose of your installation. Please do not hesitate to contact us as we are always glad to help.

For Round Culverts: We recommend installing FlexiBaffles perpendicular to flow about 1/3 the circumference of the culvert radius. The length of the FlexiBaffle is recommended in Table 1 below. The spacing of the FlexiBaffle is dependent upon the gradient of the culvert, as recommended in Table 2.

For Squashed or Flat-Bottomed Culverts or Aprons: We recommend the FlexiBaffles should be installed perpendicular to flow, across the width of the channel. The spacing of the FlexiBaffle is dependent upon the gradient of the culvert, as recommended on Table 2.
