For Round Culverts: We recommend installing Flexi Baffles perpendicular to flow about 1/3 the circumference of the culvert radius. The length of the Flexi Baffle is recommended in Table 1 below. The spacing of the Flexi Baffle is dependent upon the gradient of the culvert, as recommended in Table 2.
For Squashed or Flat-Bottomed Culverts or Aprons: We recommend the Flexi Baffles should be installed perpendicular to flow, across the width of the channel. The spacing of the Flexi Baffle is dependent upon the gradient of the culvert, as recommended on Table 2.
