For Round Culverts: We recommend installing Flexi Baffles about 1/3 the circumference of the culvert radius. The length of the Flexi Baffle is recommended in Table 1 below. The spacing of the Flexi Baffle is dependent upon the gradient of the culvert, as recommended in Table 2.
For Squashed or Flat-Bottomed Culverts or Aprons: We recommend the Flexi Baffles should be installed perpendicular to flow, across the width of the channel. The spacing of the Flexi Baffle is dependent upon the gradient of the culvert, as recommended on Table 2.
INSTALLATION IN HDPE, CMP OR SIMILAR CULVERTS: In this video we demonstrate how to install the Flexi Baffle in a HDPE culvert. This is the same method you would use for CMP and other similar materials.
